The Sisters Mission Outreach has requested the following items to be gathered and sent through the Midwest Food Bank network of Indiana and Illinois. We will be shipping product to Miami and from there, forwarded to U.S. Navy ships bound for Haiti or cargo sea containers to extend humanitarian relief to quake victims.
A Midwest Food Bank truck will be sent shortly loaded with vitamins, first aid, hydration, and bulk dry food supplies from our warehouse facilities. A second truck will be sent next week to a U.S. Navy vessel and with helicopter support to fly in needed supplies to aid disaster victims.
The ongoing requests for future shipments are for hygiene kits and supplies.
