MFB Distribution in Wetumpka, AL

In addition to distributions at our locations, Midwest Food Bank supports many monthly remote food distributions. Most of these operate out of loaned warehouse space, eliminating the need for a permanent physical structure. Food is delivered to the site, where volunteers unload, set up, and facilitate the distribution. This has proven to be a cost-effective way to expand Midwest Food Bank's impact and reach.

The Georgia division of Midwest Food Bank supports a remote distribution in Wetumpka, Alabama, serving Montgomery and surrounding communities. This program started in 2024 to serve food-insecure people in the region. It is typically the second Wednesday of each month, but not always. Located at Worthy Promotions warehouse, 1700 Central Plank Road, Wetumpka, AL. Contact Kelly Baker at 678-779-5601.
