At the core of everything we do at Midwest Food Bank is one powerful force: volunteers. Last year more than 38,000 volunteers across the country shouldered the load to distribute food and resources to those in desperate need. As the Texas division grows, our need for more volunteers grows daily.
From sorting food and packing boxes to loading trucks and preparing emergency relief, our volunteers are the hands and hearts behind every meal we distribute. Their time, energy, and care make it possible for us to serve thousands of families across Texas—and beyond.
Looking for a way to get involved? We've made it easy and flexible:
- Volunteer Days: Monday - Friday
- Flexible Shifts: Morning, afternoon, and some evening options
- Group & Family Friendly: Perfect for individuals, families, faith groups, and corporate teams
- Location: 6741 Midway Rd #200, Haltom City, Texas 76117
Whether you can give two hours or two days, your time has real impact—and we promise, you'll leave with more than you came for. Volunteering at MFB builds community, connection, and purpose.
Come be a part of something bigger. Come be the reason someone eats tonight. Start here.
