Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

On Saturday, June 22nd over 60 volunteers came together at Midwest Food Bank GA Division to enjoy good food and great company at our Semi-Annual Volunteer Appreciation dinner.This year’s event featured a chili cook-off and dessert contest presided over by two celebrity judges — Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb and Lieutenant Brad Williams of the Peachtree City Police Department.In addition to chili and desserts, guests enjoyed a host of delicious dishes provided by their fellow volunteers, along with a rousing game of trivia.The evening culminated with the awarding of the prizes for Best Chili (David Lowther) and Best Dessert (Maria Puckett).
