The close of 2025 marked a record breaking year of service and growth. Over the course of the year, $38,049,665 worth of food was distributed to communities across Georgia and the Southeast, more than doubling the impact achieved just five years earlier.
In 2020, food distribution totaled $18.9 million. By the end of 2025, that number had grown to more than $38 million. This progress was made possible through the work of the equivalent of five full time staff members, alongside the support of more than 6,800 volunteers, generous donors, corporate partners, and food donors.
Together, this collective effort supported 264 nonprofit partner agencies, all of which receive food at no cost. Because the majority of food is donated and financial support primarily covers transportation, every dollar given becomes $30 worth of food.
When increased need emerged in 2025 due to SNAP delays and other challenges, partners were able to continue serving without interruption.
Executive Director Patrick Burke shared, “This is not just about numbers. It is about stability, dignity, and consistent access to food for hundreds of thousands of people.”
The impact of 2025 reflects the strength of a community working together. Thank you to everyone who played a role in making this year possible.
