Amazon and Midwest Food Bank Expand Product Distribution to Families Nationwide
We are grateful to be featured in Amazon’s Community First campaign, which shares how returned and unused products can become practical resources for families and nonprofits.
The campaign video, “How Returns Can Become Resources for Families in Need,” highlights a partnership we deeply value. Through Amazon’s support, Midwest Food Bank can help redirect usable products into food aid, disaster relief supplies, household essentials, and nonprofit programs that serve communities across the country.
This work reflects a shared commitment to stewardship. Products that might otherwise go unused can still serve a purpose when they are moved through a trusted nonprofit network, sorted by volunteers, and delivered to organizations already helping families in need.
Amazon has supported Midwest Food Bank for years through product donations, transportation assistance, and logistics that help move resources. That support strengthens our ability to serve nonprofit partners, food pantries, schools, shelters, and disaster response organizations across the country.
Every product distributed through our network represents a practical need being met. Some items help stock food pantry shelves. Others support families recovering from disasters or nonprofits working with limited resources. Through volunteers and our partners, these products are quickly sorted, packed, and placed into local communities.
"We are humbled by the opportunity to partner with Amazon and grateful for the trust they’ve placed in Midwest Food Bank’s operations. This collaboration allows us to efficiently move products into the hands of families, nonprofit organizations, and disaster response partners who need them most."

Partnerships like this help bring greater awareness to how corporations, nonprofits, volunteers, and local agencies can work together to serve communities more effectively. Amazon is one of many companies helping provide resources that support Midwest Food Bank’s mission, and each partnership plays a role in helping food, household goods, and essential supplies reach people who need them most.
