Beautiful day for the MFB Arizona Golf Classic

Midwest Food Bank Arizona’s first-ever Golf Classic, sponsored by California Pools and Landscape, was a success. 156 golfers raised over $75,000 at the event, held at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club.

Professional Golfer Ted Purdy, now Development Director at MFB Arizona, was on hand. Ted hit a shot for every group on the par 3 third hole. A cannon golf ball launcher was at one hole, with a “closest to the pin” contest. Another hole featured drone golfing for even more fun. A drone carried the ball 400 yards and the golfer would release it, hoping to be close to the hole. Mike Smith of California Pools and Landscape managed to get a hole-in-one,

We are thankful for the many sponsors, the weather, and the support of the golfers. MFB Arizona is blessed to have had the opportunity to share our mission and vision with our community.
