Midwest Food Bank Florida recently welcomed volunteers from City First Church, whose team traveled from Indiana to spend time serving alongside our staff and volunteers.
From organizing pallets to moving boxes and preparing food for distribution, every helping hand made a difference for families experiencing food insecurity throughout Southwest Florida.
Their visit also highlighted something larger than a single volunteer day. It reflected the strength of the Midwest Food Bank family, with churches and volunteers serving together across division lines to support one shared mission.
As Galatians 6:9 reminds us:
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
