Midwest Food Bank Morton recently received a $3,800 grant from the Morton Community Foundation to support disaster relief food box efforts.
The funding will help purchase flat cardboard food boxes that will be co-branded with the foundation and filled with highly shelf-stable food items for families impacted by disasters across the country.
These disaster relief boxes play an important role in rapid response efforts, helping provide practical food support during times of crisis and recovery.
Midwest Food Bank Morton is grateful to the Morton Community Foundation for recognizing the needs of communities both locally and beyond and for continuing to invest in relief efforts that help families when they need it most.
Community partnerships help relief reach farther.
