At Midwest Food Bank of Texas, partnerships are built on shared calling and trust. One of the most impactful examples is Templo Christiano Ágape in Irving, Texas, a longtime partner agency serving families with care, dignity, and faith.

In 2025, Templo Christiano Ágape received more than $3 million worth of food, allowing their ministry to serve thousands of families experiencing food insecurity. This food moved quickly and responsibly from warehouse to community, becoming meals that brought stability during uncertain times.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to stewardship and compassion. Volunteers serve not only with their hands, but with humility and love, recognizing each family as worthy of respect. Food relief becomes nourishment and a reflection of God’s provision and mercy.
“We believe serving the hungry is a reflection of God’s love in action,” said Gerson Hernandez, Templo Christiano Ágape. “Through our partnership with Midwest Food Bank of Texas, we can reach families with both food and hope.”
Together, Midwest Food Bank of Texas and Templo Christiano Ágape continue serving neighbors with grace, strengthening families and communities through faithful service.
