At Midwest Food Bank Texas, we believe that serving others is one of the greatest expressions of our faith.
Each month, Fit to Serve exemplifies that calling by committing two Sundays to serve alongside our team.
In just one hour, this incredible group consistently builds 40 pallets of food and essential products, preparing life-changing resources that will be delivered to our partner agencies across Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Their dedication allows us to reach thousands of families with nourishment, hope, and the love of Christ.
What makes Fit to Serve truly unique is their commitment to strengthening both the body and the spirit. Their time at the Texas Division is more than a workout, it is an act of worship. As they serve together, they demonstrate that caring for physical well-being and living out Christ’s command to love and serve others go hand in hand.
We are especially grateful for the leadership of Josh Hodnett, whose vision and faithful commitment have inspired so many to use their gifts and strength to bless others. Through his leadership, Fit to Serve has become an invaluable ministry partner, proving that ordinary people, united by faith, can accomplish extraordinary things for God’s Kingdom.
To Josh and every member of Fit to Serve, thank you for faithfully being the hands and feet of Jesus. Your service is transforming lives, strengthening our mission, and reminding everyone that when we serve others, we serve Christ.
Faith grows stronger when it’s put into action.
