Food Bank Flier 2017

Midwest Food Bank received a wonderful blessing from Team 224, an offer to host a fundraising bike ride. The first Food Bank Flyer was held on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

It was a beautiful summer morning, cool and sunny. Cyclists began arriving at 6:30am to register. The first riders left at 7am. Others registered and left later. There were 20, 40 and 60 miles routes, as well as a 5K walk/run. Riders enjoyed scenic views, refreshing rest stops and fellowship.

When the riders began to return at 11am, a burger, brat and hot dog lunch was ready for them.

Thank you to Team 224 and the many volunteers and riders who made the day successful and memorable.
