As Midwest Food Bank Georgia approaches 15 years of serving communities across the region, a new campaign is helping position the ministry for continued growth and long-term sustainability.
In partnership with supporters, volunteers, and community leaders, Midwest Food Bank Georgia has launched its 15-Year Debt-Free Campaign, an effort focused on strengthening the future of hunger relief and disaster response throughout the state and beyond.
When the Georgia Division first opened in 2011, it served just nine local agencies with a simple mission: provide food at no cost to those in need. Today, Midwest Food Bank Georgia distributes more than $38 million in food annually to more than 265 nonprofit partners serving families across the region.
That growth has included expanded warehouse space, increased disaster relief capabilities, additional transportation resources, and stronger partnerships with food donors and community organizations. As the ministry continues growing, the goal of the Debt-Free Campaign is to ensure every dollar can go even further toward serving families in need.
The campaign supports the continued expansion of Midwest Food Bank Georgia’s facility, logistics, and disaster relief infrastructure while helping create a stronger foundation for the future.
By becoming debt-free, Midwest Food Bank Georgia can continue increasing food access, responding quickly during disasters, and strengthening partnerships that help multiply impact across communities.
The campaign also serves as a celebration of the volunteers, agencies, donors, and supporters who have helped shape the ministry over the past 15 years.
Together, those partnerships continue making it possible to rescue food, serve families, and bring hope to communities throughout Georgia and beyond.
