Georgia Division gets Cold Storage

God is so good! We are excited to announce that the Georgia Division is now in the perishable food business. Because of generous donations, we installed two-40 foot cold storage containers behind our main warehouse. These containers can store up to one and a half semi loads of cold and/or frozen food. Up until this time, we were unable to accept large quantities of perishable items. It is so amazing to watch God take care of those in need. He has provided a way for MFB, Georgia Division to provide bread, dairy, meat, fresh fruits, and vegetables to the agencies they serve. In turn the non-profits can pass these on to their clients.

We thank Georgia Rigging, Inc. for donating crane and rigging services to put the containers in place. This is just the beginning of our ability to provide perishable items to our supporting agencies. Our goal in the near future is to build out a large capacity cold storage capable of holding up to ten semi loads of cold and frozen food items. We are so blessed to be a part of God’s work.
