Midwest Food Bank Arizona was one of three charitable organizations highlighted at the recent Arizona Multihousing Association event at the Phoenix Convention Center. Kowalski Construction invited us to join them at their booth and highlight food insecurity.
The theme of the event was “The Hero in You.” Visitors to the Kowalski Construction display were invited to assemble food bags for the homeless. Once filled, guests took the food bags with them to share directly with someone in need. It was a great hands-on activity, both at the event and after.
Kowalski Construction’s philanthropic culture led to the longest lines of the event. Their booth took the People’s Choice Award for best booth. MFB Arizona thanks Kowalski Construction for highlighting the work we do.
