Midwest Food Bank Arizona partnered with State 48 Roofing to prepare 3,000 Holiday Meal Kits for neighbors facing hunger. Each kit feeds six to eight people and includes a turkey or ham. Community members served by shopping for kit items, packing a pre-labeled box with family or friends, or giving donations so the organization could purchase the food directly.
Holiday Meal Kits Include:

A gift card for a turkey or ham
2 Boxes of stuffing mix
1 Box instant mashed potatoes
2 Packets of gravy mix
2 Cans of green beans
1 Can of cream of mushroom soup
1 Can of crispy fried onions
1 Bag of rice
2 Cans of cranberry sauce
1 Can of pumpkin pie filling
2 Cans of evaporated milk
1 Box of graham cracker crumbs
Support expanded this year through a grant from Desert Financial Credit Union, which provided Holiday Meal Kits to 525 families. CEO Jeff Meshey and his wife, Debra, volunteered with their Social Responsibility Program staff members, continuing a long-standing relationship grounded in trust in the organization’s faith-based mission.
Volunteers, families, business teams, and church groups helped pack the kits before they were distributed through partner channels. Each box became a practical expression of compassion for households navigating the challenges of the holiday season.
