In Marsabit County, located in the arid region of Northern Kenya, communities continue to face severe challenges related to food access and nutrition.
According to global food security assessments, this region is currently classified at a critical level for acute malnutrition, reflecting the urgent need for consistent support.
Through partnership with Juhudi Mashinani, efforts are underway to help meet that need. Juhudi Mashinani works directly within these communities, focusing on providing practical assistance in areas where resources are limited and conditions are often harsh.
Recently, 882 families received food support through this partnership. In a region where access to consistent meals can be uncertain, this support helps provide stability and relief for households navigating difficult circumstances.
Work in areas like Marsabit requires more than a single response. It depends on ongoing relationships, local knowledge, and organizations that are committed to serving communities over time. Juhudi Mashinani continues to play an important role in that effort, helping ensure that food reaches those who need it most.
This partnership reflects the importance of working together to respond to complex challenges. Through coordinated efforts, care and resources are able to reach communities where the need remains high.
