On May 15, Midwest Food Bank Morton hosted its annual Out-Drive Hunger Golf Classic to a record crowd. A total of 144 golfers gathered at Metamora Fields for a sunny day of golf, community connection, and giving back.
Throughout the day, golfers had opportunities to compete for prizes including a private suite at a Chiefs game, foursomes at several exclusive Peoria area golf courses, tickets to the John Deere Classic, and a trip to the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Congratulations to Eric Hansen, winner of the featured trip prize.
Teams also participated in games and skill challenges throughout the course, including kid-club contests and a hole-in-one opportunity that kept golfers entertained throughout the outing.
Midwest Food Bank Morton is grateful for the many volunteers who helped make the event successful through registration, course games, setup, and preparation efforts throughout the day.
Special thanks also go to Platinum Sponsors Sam Leman Automotive Group and Lighthouse Buick GMC for their continued support. Chick-fil-A and Culver’s helped provide lunch and dessert for golfers as part of the day’s experience.
The generosity shown by sponsors, golfers, and volunteers continues helping support hunger and disaster relief efforts through Midwest Food Bank Morton. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year’s outing another memorable success.
Community generosity continues driving meaningful impact.
