Jubilee of Cherries

A Midwest Food Bank staff member was out serving in the community recently and was speaking with an individual about her walk with Christ. During their conversation, the woman told the following story:

Her family member volunteers at a food pantry in the area and had just received a lot of fresh, dark red cherries from Midwest Food Bank to distribute to the community. The woman was on the receiving end of the cherries. When she received the cherries she said that it was “Such a blessing. Cherries are expensive! And I got a whole bag of them for free! It was a reminder to me that all the gifts that God gives are FREE!”

These cherries were part of our new fresh fruit distribution. We are so thankful to be able to bless the community.
