At Midwest Food Bank, we are thankful for partners who can get the food we supply into the hands of those who need it. Agape Flights fills a unique need by airlifting food into difficult-to-reach areas.
In November, MFB Florida provided over 950 pounds of snack food items to Agape Flights. They were able to get the food to Les Cayes, Haiti, where it was distributed to over 700 people. This was especially appreciated due to the unrest in Haiti.
Earlier, Agape Flights was able to get food and cleaning supplies to The Bahamas to help the victims of the devastating force of Hurricane Dorian. This effort was difficult given the level of red tape necessary to cut through.
In a letter of thanks, Carole Leman, Director of Donor Relations and Development for Agape Flights, said, “We are so thankful for you! I Thessalonians 3:9 (How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?).”
MFB Florida appreciates our partnership with Agape Flights. Together we can show Christ’s love to those struggling with food insecurity.
