MFB Georgia breaking ground on new freezer and cooler

A HUGE “Thank you!” to all those who have contributed to our Impacting our Community Campaign. Phase I of this project is 90% funded. After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, we have decided to break ground and begin construction of Phase I, the large capacity Freezer and Refrigerator. With the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the communities we serve have needed additional support from Midwest Food Bank.

We anticipate completion of the project in early September. When complete the freezer and refrigerator will be able to hold up to 12 semi loads of nutritional fresh and frozen foods. We are excited to be able to offer more nutritious foods to those we serve.

Thank you again to all who have made this possible. If you would like to help bring this project to 100% funded, click here.
