Please join us in welcoming Eric Hodel to the Midwest Food Bank team. He has been hired for the new position of Chief Financial Officer.
Eric has a BS in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Illinois and has held multiple positions within Caterpillar, most recently as the TTT Product Manager for North America. During Eric’s tenure at Caterpillar he has lived in multiple locations and has experienced significant global travel. He and wife Gina currently reside in Metamora, IL with their children.
While he has enjoyed the past 20 years at Caterpillar, the opportunity to join MFB and the opportunity to assume a leadership role in his family farming business both presented themselves at nearly the same time. Eric and Gina felt compelled to take a step of faith and pursue a new direction. He is very much looking forward to meeting and helping lead MFB employees and volunteers, learning the organization’s scope and processes, and enabling God’s plans for MFB.
Eric and Gina praise God for His patience and goodness in helping grow their faith as they make a significant career move. They also thank you in advance for your support and prayers as they make this transition.
Eric will take up his duties mid May.
