Please help us welcome Lori Renne, the Executive Director for Midwest Food Bank, Pennsylvania. Lori was born and raised in central Pennsylvania and is the youngest of eight children.
“We lived in a small house yet my parents instilled in us that there was always enough food and a seat at our table for anyone who needed it,” says Lori.
Before coming to MFB Lori was the director of marketing for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry. In that role she traveled the state and interacted with businesses. She noticed the increased need for social programs, including food insecurity.
“This became a troublesome concern for me on both a personal and professional level,” says Lori. When MFB launched the Pennsylvania location in early 2020 Lori learned about the executive director position.
“Lori’s organizational skills, strategy development, and teamwork are giving the Pennsylvania division a great start,” says Eric Hodel, COO/CFO of MFB. “Her passion to lead while serving others makes her an excellent fit for MFB.”
