MFB Texas hires new Community Development Coordinator

Rhonda Revels has joined the staff at Midwest Food Bank Texas as Community Development Coordinator. Her previous experience in customer service, sales, and marketing will help MFB grow community partnerships and a volunteer base.

“Rhonda’s background makes her a perfect fit for Midwest Food Bank,” says David Emerson, Executive Director of MFB Texas. “Her faith and personality bring enthusiasm to the entire team.”

In 2019 Rhonda took a step of faith and retired from her position as a marketing representative for an independent insurance agency. She says through prayer and direction from God an opportunity opened at MFB.

“I have always loved serving those in need whether it was a homeless outreach or helping a single mom in need.,” says Rhonda. “I love the mission and values at Midwest Food Bank and felt in my heart this was where God was leading me.”

Rhonda and her husband, Don, have 3 children and two grandchildren (with another on the way). She enjoys spending time with her children and their families, her church family, trips to her lake home in Minnesota, and Bible study.

Please join us in welcoming Rhonda to MFB Texas.
