MFB Florida mobile pantry makes a comeback

Midwest Food Bank, Florida had to take a timeout from providing food through the mobile pantry due to COVID 19. But, on May 16 the mobile pantry made a comeback delivering 750 meal kits, two pallets of water and one pallet each of bread and canned beans.

This mobile pantry has been serving the region for about two years and typically operates on a monthly basis. In total, about 500 people are served each time.

Like all MFB operations, the mobile food pantry has made adjustments due to COVID 19. Recipients drove through and food was loaded into their vehicles by volunteers.

MFB continues to monitor COVID 19 to ensure safety to recipients, volunteers and staff. We are committed to continuing to serve those in need and share the Gospel, even during a pandemic.
