One Day of Giving Can Help Save Lives this Spring

NEC Blood Drive
On Tuesday, April 7, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Midwest Food Bank New England will host an on-site blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross.

This one-day event offers a simple yet meaningful way to serve others. Donating blood is a practical act that supports patients in need and strengthens communities in times of uncertainty.

The blood drive will take place at the Midwest Food Bank New England facility in Manchester, Connecticut, where donors will be welcomed into a space centered on care and service.

Throughout the day, those who give can expect a warm and inviting environment, along with soup, sandwiches, and snacks as a small way to say thank you.

In addition, the American Red Cross is offering a donor promotion, participants will receive an exclusive American Red Cross x Life is Good T-shirt.

Events like this remind us that service can take many forms. Whether packing food, volunteering time, or donating blood, each act plays a role in supporting others.

Those interested in participating can contact Michaela directly using the link below, to learn more or schedule a time to give.

Take part in a simple act that can make a lasting difference.
