Midwest Food Bank Texas recently welcomed Roman Ray to the advisory board.
Roman is a General Manager for Luby’s, and finds community events in the Dallas/Ft. Wirth area for the company. He is focused on networking and building programs at Luby’s to give back to the community, especially children.
Homelessness is in Roman’s personal history. This gives him an added purpose in helping others. Roman also works with the NFL and NBA, feeding programs in Africa, community events with music artists, and placing food pantries in schools and colleges. All of this combines to make him an ideal fit for Midwest Food Bank Texas.
“The experience and passion Roman brings to Midwest Food Bank are a great blessing,” says David Emerson, Executive Director of MFB Texas. “We’re grateful to have him join the board.”
“People who hear my story are able to see light at the end of the tunnel, and I share it every chance I get,” says Roman. “I love helping others grow; it’s my key focus.”
