New Community Relations intern at MFB Florida

Internships offer college students a way to gain experience while learning. They also provide MFB a consistent, dedicated volunteer presence. At MFB Florida, we’re happy to welcome Melissa Kessler to a Community Relations internship.

Melissa is a Junior at Florida Gulf Coast University majoring in Communication with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. She became interested in MFB following a presentation by Kelly Apfel.

“I have always wanted to work for an organization with a positive mission,” says Melissa. “I love being able to go home at the end of the day knowing I was able to serve others.”

In her free time, Melissa likes to camp and spend time in nature. As a photography student, she has been enjoying this hobby. She takes nature and landscape photos but also does portraits and graduation photos.

Welcome to MFB Florida, Melissa.
