Not your ordinary barn

Did you know that there is a Barn in Peachtree City that helps fight food insecurity?

In 2017, Midwest Food Bank Georgia increased its capacity to serve our community by building a loading dock and a 3,600 sq. ft. storage building. When working with the contractor on the building design, the decision was made to put red siding on the building and call it “The Barn.” This building honors the special history and legacy of Midwest Food Bank, which started on the Kieser family farm in 2003.

Over the past 2 years, tens of thousands of lives have been touched by the food and disaster relief supplies that has been stored in “The Barn.”
