Peace Corps volunteers a special blessing to MFB Arizona

One way people volunteer at Midwest Food Bank is by signing up as a group. The Phoenix Peace Corps group volunteers at least quarterly at MFB Arizona.

Here is what a few of them had to say about volunteering at MFB Arizona:

“I enjoy working alongside many other heart-centered people who want to be of service and help to others. The collaboration and compassion are captivating,” – Paul George Smith, Jr. – served in Cambodia 2016-18.

“The volunteer event itself was very well organized and I think volunteers could see a clear purpose and need to be met, which is not always the case in volunteering,” – Kati Decker – served in Colombia 2012-14.

“MFB is well organized and helps many people. I look forward to continuing to build a partnership with them by volunteering more with the group,” – Alfredo Gonzalez – served in Ghana 2015-17.

Their experience with the Peace Corps nurtured the desire to serve around the world and at home. MFB is fortunate to have these service-minded volunteers.
