On August 2, 2025, Peoria gathered once again for a joyful mix of sport and service: the 3rd Annual Peanut Butter Pickleball Fundraiser. This year’s event moved indoors to River City Racquetball Clubs, giving players and supporters the blessing of a weather-proof venue.
On August 2, 2025, Peoria gathered once again for a joyful mix of sport and service: the 3rd Annual Peanut Butter Pickleball Fundraiser. This year’s event moved indoors to River City Racquetball Clubs, giving players and supporters the blessing of a weather-proof venue.
The day was filled with community spirit. Twenty-four teams competed while WCIC, a local faith-based radio station, sponsored a heartfelt campaign, hosting a peanut butter drive, sharing music, and raising awareness. Their efforts, combined with the energy of participants, resulted in 500 jars of peanut butter collected and more than $33,000 raised to strengthen food relief efforts.
