Prayer leads new Agency Coordinator to MFB Peoria

MFB Peoria is excited to have a new Agency Coordinator, Michelle Hatfield. Michelle began here on March 8, 2021. Previously, she worked in retail management and church administration.

Out of the blue, a friend told Michelle about the opening at MFB. It was right before a planned week of prayer and fasting. Michelle’s husband, Dan, thought it was perfect timing, and they added the position to their prayer list. Later that week, both of them felt a peace about applying for the post. Shortly after that, Michelle had an interview with MFB Executive Director Monica Scheuer, followed later by a job offer.

“Michelle brings great skills to support our partnering feeding programs,” says Monica. “She has a special compassion for our food recipients.”

Michelle and Dan have been married for 20 years and have three teenage boys, Jordan, Aiden, and Jaron. They love to travel and are always up for an adventure. She likes to garden and work with her hands, currently working on the entrance to their home.

“I am so excited to be a part of the welcoming and inviting environment at MFB,” says Michelle. “And I love helping and supporting our local partner agencies.”

Join us in welcoming Michelle to the MFB Peoria team.
