Midwest Food Bank Florida recently joined Coronado Middle and High School in Fort Myers and partners from the American Heart Association to celebrate the ribbon cutting of a new refrigeration unit that will help expand access to nutritious food for local students and families.
The new unit will support the school’s growing pantry program, helping provide additional fresh and nutritious food options for families throughout the community.
This partnership reflects a continued commitment to strengthening food access for low-income households across Southwest Florida while supporting students both inside and outside the classroom.
Midwest Food Bank Florida is grateful for the partnerships, community support, and shared dedication that helped make this project possible. Together, efforts like these continue helping provide practical support and care for families throughout the region.
