What began with just three learners has grown into a thriving school that is changing lives in Kilifi County, Kenya.
Founded by Priscilla and Pastor George Masha, Solace Education Centre was established to provide children in their community with access to quality education. As the school grew, so did the need to provide students with reliable nutrition and a supportive learning environment.
Through its partnership with Midwest Food Bank East Africa, Solace Education Centre receives nutritious food that helps students stay healthy, focused, and ready to learn. The partnership has also supported the school’s continued development, including permanent classrooms, laboratories, a dining hall, and access to clean water.
Today, the school’s first students have completed three years of secondary education, reflecting years of steady growth and investment in both education and student well-being.
For many families, knowing their children receive a nutritious meal at school provides peace of mind while helping students attend class consistently and participate fully in their education.
