The Shop Forward blesses others through MFB

A simple internet search, a love for fashion, and a desire to help people around the world – that’s how Meri Barnes, CEO and founder of California based The Shop Forward, connected with Midwest Food Bank. The apparel company supports a variety of causes including disaster relief. The recent derecho in Iowa and hurricanes in the southeast prompted Meri to make a generous donation to Midwest Food Bank to financially support helping people impacted by these recent disasters.

Since its founding in 2014, The Shop Forward has donated about $4.2 million to help a variety of charities and non-profits. A portion of each item sold helps others. All products are available online and the company is a one-stop-shop for items that pay it forward. Meri was named to Pepperdine University’s 40 under 40 list in 2016 for her leadership and servant heart.

So, pay it forward by shopping forward and sport a great t-shirt or hat at the same time. The fun products are sure to put a smile on your face. Thank Meri and the team for using their talents and business to help others. Shop here: The Shop Forward.
