Midwest Food Bank Arizona has a thriving partnership with The Vanguard Group, investment advisors. Their support is lively and encouraging.
During the last half of June, Vanguard held its annual “All Cans on Deck” food drive. More than just a food collection, All Cans on Deck is a two-week extravaganza. A partial list of activities includes: bake sales, raffles, penny wars, coffee cards, Giant Jenga competitions, relay races, a cutest pet contest, and a canned food art contest.
If those fun events weren’t enough, The Vanguard Group also matched 50% of all employee donations over $25!
MFB Arizona was invited to be present to inform employees about our mission, and to join the festivities. It was exciting to meet the amazing team there.
The result? thousands of dollars worth of food and thousands of dollars donated. MFB Arizona use that to feed thousands of food insecure people. Thank you Vanguard Group, for the donations, support and fun!
