Todd Greenwood has joined Midwest Food Bank as Executive Director of Indiana Operations, effective May 1, 2026, helping lead statewide food distribution and future operational growth.
In this role, Greenwood will oversee the distribution of approximately $74 million in food and essential supplies while helping advance the organization’s mission across Indiana. He will also work closely with partners and stakeholders to support the development of a new fully operational warehouse planned for 2027. Greenwood brings leadership experience from several nonprofit, agriculture, tourism, and sports organizations, including the Farm Journal Foundation, National FFA Foundation, NCAA Hall of Champions, and Visit Indy.
Most recently, he served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at the Farm Journal Foundation, where he led fundraising and partnership initiatives supporting global food and agricultural development efforts. His background also includes executive committee and board leadership experience across multiple organizations.
Raised on cattle and row crop farms in Warren County, Indiana, Greenwood said his upbringing shaped his perspective on service, community, and hard work. He attended Purdue University in West Lafayette and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Sciences with a concentration in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Greenwood said he was first introduced to Midwest Food Bank through a mutual connection and became increasingly interested in the organization after learning more about its mission and values

In addition to overseeing current operations, Greenwood will help guide planning efforts connected to the future warehouse project scheduled for completion in 2027. The expanded facility is expected to strengthen operational capacity and support long-term service growth throughout Indiana communities. While still early in his role, Greenwood said the people at Midwest Food Bank have already made a strong impression.“From staff to volunteers to agency partners, it is energizing to be around people of faith who serve,” he said.
Greenwood and his wife, Kathie, live in Plainfield, Indiana. Their family includes stepson Nathan and his wife Holly, daughter Sophia and her husband Alex, and grandchildren Quentin, Arthur, Warren, and Adeline. Outside of work, Greenwood enjoys spending time with family, golfing, working with cattle, and exercising.
