Across Indiana, the need continues to grow, and Midwest Food Bank is working alongside a network of partners to meet it. What began as $27 million in food distributed in 2014 has grown to $74 million by 2024, now helping serve nearly a quarter of a million people each year. As that impact has expanded, current facilities have become a limiting factor in how efficiently food can be received, sorted, and distributed.
The “Under One Roof” initiative brings everything together into one purpose-built facility designed to improve flow, increase capacity, and support long-term growth. With an 8-acre site secured and $9 million already committed, this project is well underway, with a remaining gap to close. This next phase will ensure more food can move faster, reaching more families through the partners who rely on it every day.
