Midwest Food Bank Florida recently joined Lee Builders Care, local trades, community leaders, American Legion Post 192, and the Mayor to celebrate the dedication of a new home for veteran Mr. Freeman.
As part of the project, Midwest Food Bank Florida helped stock the pantry to ensure the home was welcomed with food and practical support from the community.
The event reflected the power of partnership and the shared commitment to serving those who have sacrificed for others. Through the collaboration of local organizations, volunteers, and community leaders, Mr. Freeman was welcomed home with encouragement, care, and support.
Midwest Food Bank Florida is grateful to everyone who helped make the day possible and honored to play a small role in helping serve a veteran who has served our country.
