Water given in His name

“God has brought water to Immokalee today!”

This was the good news announced by Mark of St. Matthew’s House.

Upon hearing that the water in Immokalee was not sanitary, Karl Steidinger, Director of Operations for Midwest Food Bank Florida, made a phone call to see if MFB could help. He was soon on the road with a semi load of bottled water.

The line began to form as soon as he arrived at St. Matthew’s House. For an hour and a half, water was distributed, one case per person. When done, 21 pallets (1,282 cases) of water had been given away.

Midwest Food Bank is thankful for the opportunity to help others, especially when the praise goes to the LORD.
