During any typical month, we average hundreds of volunteers serving here giving us thousands of hours of love and support. In 2019, we had over 4,000 individuals serve for over 46,000 hours. Since the beginning of COVID-19, we have had to reduce our volunteer opportunities. We miss the joy, energy and excitement our volunteer groups bring to the warehouse. We miss the hugging, hand holding and praying together during load out days. We miss seeing the volunteer groups who serve here regularly, we miss our student groups, and we miss seeing all of our regular food bank friends and family. Over the coming weeks we anticipate increasing our volunteer opportunities. We will continue to follow local guidelines and take all necessary safety precautions.
