As a faith-based organization, it is the mission of Midwest Food Bank to share the love of Christ by alleviating hunger and malnutrition locally and throughout the world and providing disaster relief, all without discrimination.
40,600,000 people live in poverty in the United States alone. Each month, we stock the shelves of over 1,700 food pantries to continue our battle against hunger.
When disaster strikes, food becomes scarce. Our fleet of semi-trucks and team of volunteer drivers stand ready to deliver food to disaster zones at a moment’s notice.
Nutritious food doesn’t have to be expensive. Our Tender Mercies meals are packed full of hearty, healthy ingredients and are packaged exclusively for Midwest Food Bank.
We desperately want to live in a world where our services are no longer needed – where the concept of hunger is foreign and a thing of the past. Until that day comes, we’ll stay in the fight, and we’d like you by our side. Our volunteers, agency partners, Share Partners, and Corporate Sponsorships enable us to grow into new locations and continue to fight hunger around the world. We need your support to continue impacting those affected by hunger. Take time to learn how we earned the highest rating through Charity Navigator, America’s premier independent charity evaluator, and consider how you can help through donation or volunteerism. Thank you for your consideration!
