In addition to distributions at our locations, Midwest Food Bank supports many monthly remote food distributions. Most of these operate out of loaned warehouse space, eliminating the need for a permanent physical structure. Food is delivered to the site, where volunteers unload, set up, and facilitate the distribution. This has proven to be a cost-effective way to expand Midwest Food Bank’s impact and reach.

The Georgia division of Midwest Food Bank supports a remote distribution in Middle Tennessee, serving Nashville and surrounding communities across the central part of the state.
