Safety in and around Midwest Food Bank is a priority, and MFB Morton is thankful for a grant that helped fund that priority. This year MFB Morton received $3,000 to be used for security cameras to be installed at the warehouse.

"Providing a safe environment is one of the ways MFB demonstrates our regard for everyone," says Lisa Martin, Executive Director of MFB Morton. "We continually look for enhancements at our facility to ensure a safe environment for all, both volunteers and partnering nonprofits."

The Morton Community Foundation awards grants for "improving the quality of life for Morton area residents." MFB has been fortunate to receive funding through the annual grant cycle for several years.

"While achieving their mission, they also allow other local organizations to achieve their mission and dreams," says Lisa. "We are so grateful for the foundation and their community partnership."
