Kind Harvest Fundraiser Exceeds Its Goal in Indiana

On August 23, 2025, Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis came alive with music, community, and generosity at the Kind Harvest Fundraiser.

Adrian from Wabash Teen Valley Challenge joined Executive Director Diara Nicholson on stage to share the impact Midwest Food Bank has on their recovery home program. His words reminded everyone that a food bank is not only about pantries but also about reaching people in many ways. Ray also opened the evening with prayer and spoke about his experiences helping with disaster relief through his pantry partnership.

Supporters also heard from presenting sponsor Corteva and partner Crosspoint Refrigeration. The evening's music was a highlight, featuring the Castlewood Singers, Corteva Agrisound, and Piece of Proof, who filled Monument Circle with uplifting performances.

Food trucks, vendors, and community partner booths rounded out the celebration, bringing people together to enjoy the evening.

Thanks to the efforts surrounding this year's Kind Harvest Fundraiser, and after expenses, Midwest Food Bank Indiana will provide $2,644,687 worth of food to partners. The original goal was $2 million, making this year's fundraiser an incredible success.
