Know-how and people skills make Richard Beasley an excellent fit for Midwest Food Bank, Bloomington Normal. He joined the staff as Operations Manager this summer after work experiences in operations, business management, and, most recently, as the Pastor of high school small groups at Eastview Christian Church. His natural ability to connect and build relationships is an asset to MFB.

"I'm a Jesus-following big kid and a husband, father, son, fisherman, and fisher of men," says Rich. "I thrive while building relationships and building up others."
Rich manages the warehouse logistics in Bloomington Normal and works closely with volunteers. He also works closely with Jeni Hanson, the Procurement Manager for MFB, Bloomington Normal.

"If you spend any time in the warehouse, you will likely notice Rich's personable approach with volunteers while running the warehouse," says Tara Ingham, executive director. He is well-connected in the community and often knows volunteers that come through the door. He also doesn't know a stranger and meets new friends every day.

Rich and his wife, Amanda, have two adult children and are enjoying their "empty nest." He likes to be outdoors and on the water in his free time.
