Midwest Food Bank, in partnership with the Indy Hunger Network, has an opportunity for one individual to join our team as part of the Americorp VISTA program. With a small staff of 5 and a volunteer base of 2000+ we are looking for an individual who can help us increase our capacity to serve more agencies in a more efficient manner through the digitizing of all of our processes and documentation. MFB is dedicated to expanding our reach to underserved areas of hunger across Indiana. The VISTA will have opportunity to develop, plan, implement, and train on an integrated IT solution to better leverage the $30 million, MFB is currently giving away annually in food and supplies at no cost to its participating agencies. The VISTA will work in conjunction with the Sr. Staff and report to the Agency/Donor Coordinator/Executive Assistant. Ample opportunities will be provided for creative and out of the box thinking and interaction with a diverse agency and volunteer population.
