Lifting Communities with Hunger Relief and Disaster Relief
Every day, Midwest Food Bank brings together donors, volunteers, and a network of over 2400 nonprofit partners to deliver food and support to communities across the country.

Hunger Relief
More than 47 million people in the U.S. live in households that struggle to access enough food. Over 6 million of them are children. With God’s help, we make sure anyone can receive shelf-stable and perishable products to help ease those challenges.
6 Million Children
Last year, more than 6 million children in the U.S. lived in homes where they didn’t have enough to eat.
47 Million People
1 in 7 Americans struggle with hunger, often forced to choose between food and other essentials.
5.1 Million Households
Millions of working families still go hungry. Over 13M Americans miss meals or go whole days without eating.
Disaster Relief
When natural disasters strike, Midwest Food Bank works alongside disaster response teams, relief agencies, and community partners to provide essential food and supplies at a moment’s notice. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, a ready-to-go inventory, and a fleet of trucks, we can respond quickly, delivering packed family food boxes to disaster sites within hours.
