MFB Distribution in Middle Tennessee

In addition to distributions at our locations, Midwest Food Bank supports many monthly remote food distributions. Most of these operate out of loaned warehouse space, eliminating the need for a permanent physical structure. Food is delivered to the site, where volunteers unload, set up, and facilitate the distribution. This has proven to be a cost-effective way to expand Midwest Food Bank's impact and reach.

The Georgia division of Midwest Food Bank supports a remote distribution in Middle Tennessee, serving Nashville and surrounding communities across the central part of the state. This program started in 2023 with the goal of serving food-insecure people throughout the region.
