Grand Opening!

On August 3, 2017 at 11:30 am, the Arizona Division had its grand opening! Thank you to the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, and the communities for all of your support!

Midwest Food Bank is a faith based organization and their mission is to alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profits and disaster sites without cost to the recipients. For more information, please go to www.midwestfoodbank.org/arizona.

As the largest food bank in Gilbert, Arizona, Midwest Food Bank has been serving locally since February 2017. In the last six months, they have been equipped to serve 120 local nonprofit agencies and food pantries, dispersing food and supplies directly to those in need, with minimal overhead.

Serving almost 400,000 people monthly, Midwest Food Bank has been able to make an abundant impact in just Arizona alone. At 27,000 square feet, this new foodbank stores generous contributions from individual food donors, like you, as well as from food manufacturers, distributors, grocers, community and organizational food drives. All donations go directly to those in the most need.

This Arizona division of Midwest Food Bank is the seventh warehouse in the United States. International operations started in 2014 in Kenya, Africa.
